Jeff has a reputation for skillful advocacy, sharp legal analysis, and an unshakeable presence in the courtroom. He has built a dynamic and effective litigation practice representing clients in estate disputes, complex commercial litigation, and contentious property matters.

Jeff began his legal career at a major regional firm in Halifax, where he trained with some of the province’s most revered counsel and developed a strong foundation in civil litigation. He then handled high-stakes civil litigation as litigation counsel with the Federal and Provincial Attorneys General. He has advocated at all levels of court in Nova Scotia, the New Brunswick Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court, administrative tribunals, and a federal-provincial public inquiry.
Jeff serves as Vice-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Section in Nova Scotia and is also Council Regional Representative for Region 1 on the CBA-NS Council. Jeff is also a part-time Instructor at the Schulich School of Law, where he lectures on estate litigation topics.
Outside of the office, Jeff enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. Jeff lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Kaitlin, their children Alexander and Audrey, and their rescue dogs Leo and Murphy.
