Meaghan practices in the areas of probate and estate administration, guardianship and representation, elder law, estate litigation, and estate and trust planning. She brings a thoughtful, methodical approach to her work, with particular sensitivity to the personal, financial, and family dynamics that often accompany estate and capacity matters.
Meaghan was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from NSCAD University, a Master of Library and Information Studies from Dalhousie University, and a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law. Her interdisciplinary background supports a practice grounded in careful analysis, strong written advocacy, and close attention to detail.
Meaghan’s work is informed by a strong foundation in research, organization, and clear communication. She is known for her ability to work through complex records, legal issues, and factual timelines with precision and care, supporting both estate planning and litigation matters. Her academic and professional training has also included a focus on accessibility, equity, and clarity in legal processes, values that continue to inform her day-to-day practice.
Meaghan is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Halifax Estate Planning Council.
Outside the office, Meaghan enjoys trivia nights, spending time in local parks and on hiking trails, and playing the piano.
